Aaron & Courtney: Engagements

So this past weekend I headed out to Santa Monica for an engagement session.  I was so excited to meet this couple and shoot this session as I've never been to the west coast!  And let me just say before I get any further I have awesome clients!  I was greeted with a goody bag and treated to an awesome breakfast, how cool is that :)  They made me feel right at home, thanks guys!

So we decided to start the day off at Pepperdine in Malibu.  This is such a beautiful campus and towards the end a fog started to roll in which was pretty cool.  We then headed down to a couple little places in Malibu before heading back to finish off in Santa Monica.

I had such an awesome time hanging out with yall and I can't wait for the wedding!  Now on to the slideshow and I'll be adding a few stills later on tonight, enjoy!

***Added the pics now!  Scroll past the slideshow to check them out...

The fog started to roll in and man was it cool!  And by cool I mean it actually got kinda chilly :)

On the BEAUTIFUL Pepperdine campus.

This was right before we were told taking pics in there was a no no :)  Gorgeous none the less!

Checkout these red shoes.... and that wall!  I LOVED shooting down in Santa Monica, sooo many awesome colors ;)

Vendor Spotlight: Flowers by the Bunch!

Monti King is the owner of a local floral shop here in Starkville, Mississippi.  She can do floral arrangements for just about any event, including weddings :)  I stopped by on Saturday to get some head shots for her and she just happened to be working on a few arrangements for an upcoming wedding.  I grabbed a few pics of the arrangements she had done and they turned out gorgeous!

Day 72 of 365

So my wife was out of town and instead of making me fend for myself for a few days look what she did. Knowing lasagna is one of my fav all time meals she made me some with the instructions on the foil.

Fast Track Photographer: Want a copy???

I truly believe that one of the greatest gifts you can give someone is a book. Last night at the Free to Succeed tour in Atlanta I gave away a few books and I truly hope that those people enjoy them!

I just read Dane Sanders' new book Fast Track Photographer and it's amazing! If you are a photographer who owns/runs your own business or are even considering the notion you have to read the book.

To hold true to what I've been saying, if you're a photographer and you have not read the book, comment or shoot me an e-mail and you might just win yourself a copy. Just tell me why you are wanting to read the book and what you hope to accomplish from reading it, it's that simple!
